Bandit

Account and data deletion

Delete your Bandit account

You can start permanent account deletion directly in Bandit. This removes your sign-in and personal account data; it is not the same as uninstalling the app or cancelling a subscription.

Delete in the app

  1. Open Bandit and sign in.
  2. Open Settings, then select Delete account under Danger Zone.
  3. Enter your current password and type DELETE.
  4. Select Delete account to confirm.

If you own a band, transfer ownership to another active member or permanently delete the band before deleting your account. This prevents an ownerless workspace.

What is deleted

Bandit removes your Firebase sign-in, profile, notification tokens, invitations addressed to your account, band and room memberships, private-chat access records, read state, and local billing-customer identity. You are signed out when deletion finishes.

What may remain

Messages, recordings, files, and other content already shared into a band may remain available to authorised band members so their conversation and collaboration history stays intact. Your access is removed and your deleted profile is no longer available. Transaction, security, tax, dispute, and legal records may be retained where required, then deleted or anonymised when no longer needed.

Restricted backup copies may remain until normal backup rotation completes.

Subscriptions are separate

Deleting a Bandit account does not cancel a subscription billed by Apple or Google. Cancel it separately in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings to prevent future renewal.
